Pruning Pear Tree

Pruning Pear Tree

I bought my house last year and I want to try and get my pear tree under control. I’ve never pruned a fruit tree before and I don’t want to damage the tree. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I planted 2 additional pear trees and I plan to add some apple trees this year as well. Thanks!

Forest Fair Mall in Cincinnati Ohio

For about 9-10 months now me and a buddy of mine have been trying to get into this mall inside of Cincinnati Ohio. We’ve tried every single door from the outside, hatches on the roof, and even tried going through Kohls and no luck. Supposedly the security there was known for pulling a knife out on someone and trying to stab them, and another was heard to kill cats and put them in his freezer. Luckily last night me and my buddy were both free and decided to give it one more attempt since we seen a YouTube video 3-4 months prior of people getting in through bass pro shop. When we got there it was already boarded back up, so we were gonna just end the night off and go get some White Castle. As we were walking away we seen a car pull up right beside of us. Window rolled down and someone said “have you guys found an entrance yet?”. We said we haven’t found anything but that this board was really loose and that maybe we could kick it in. They said they had a spot that looked better, so we hopped in the trunk and went around to the back. This door/board only had 6-8 bolts in it compared to all the others with like 30. 30 minutes later we were in! We couldn’t believe it to be honest, we were so pumped. I tried taking all of the pictures I could until we got a text from those people we got in with “Security caught us”. We turn around and there’s 2 people walking towards us with flashlights. We run through this empty store and hit the hallways in the back that leads through all the stores. We ended up finding a room with like 15 closets, we each went in one and waited there for about an hour to an hour and a half. They texted us and said “They said there looking for you for another hour and then they’re gonna send k9s in” We decided to just give ourselves up to security rather then hide from cops & dogs. And the security guard just called us some idiots and told us to leave. The experience was really really fun but the security there does not gaf. We didn’t even get trespassed. I’m not gonna speak for anyone else but the security guard was really just a cool dude tryna get to sleep. If anyone has any recommendations on where we can go next I’d really appreciate it!

I saw on older posts that the LoFree Flow included keycaps originally had light bleed (white ones). Is that fixed? Also, are the keycap sets you order from the LoFree website the same quality as the included ones within a keyboard?

Report FORMAT- FLE

Yeah, I was baffled when i saw this question in one of the papers, my teacher just dropped in some last minute notes. Hope it's useful to y'all! ![img](gzcqcqy8cche1) ***Report writing*** A report usually tells the reader about *an event that has taken place*. The writer may ***analyse or observe*** these events/situations. Reports are always written for a *particular audience*. They are clear and objective, *reporting the facts*. **Things you should do****:** ·       Make points clear in separate paragraphs with *topic sentences* (use **subheadings** if you want) ·       Use **connectives** (*Earlier, Later that day, Afterwards*). Reports of an event would give information about what happened in **chronological order**.  i.e. from **beginning to end**. ·       Stay **objective**. This isn't descriptive writing - it’s a clear presentation of information. There should be *no exaggeration or emotive language*. ·       **Formal and standard English** ·       **Facts and Statistics** is often used. ·        *Variety of sentence lengths and punctuation*.   ***Structure for Success*** ***First paragraph – Introduction*** Be clear about the\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_  (- **who**, **what**, **when**, **where**, **why** and **how**)   **Eg:** On 16th June 2012, *Eastwood School* was inspected by the **local council (Barker and Douglas**). The focus was on the Maths and English departments. Both were graded as making positive progress. The visit was a *response to the dramatic rise in IGCSE passes from grades A\*-C*. ***Paragraphs 2 to 4 – The Main Report*** \- **details** of what happened \- **facts and statistics** \- use *topic sentences* and *sub-headings* \- **quotes** from eye witnesses / members of public   **Eg:** One staff member commented that students were 'a delight to teach', with the staffroom atmosphere described as 'hugely supportive' by another.   ***Last Paragraph – Ending*** \- Finish with some points for improvement or your suggested action for any   similar events. \- This might be things that went well or recommendations to        \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_.   **Eg:** Overall, the school shows itself to be making steps towards clear improvements. It is recommended that Eastwood School shares their strong teaching and learning practice with other schools in the district.   **Remember:** ·       Your text should be well-ordered with a strong sense of beginning and end. ·       Your report should sound convincing and real with an excellent sense of audience.   **Sample Report:** **Incident during School Outing** I was asked by the school headmaster to write a report to you about the incident that took place a few days before during a school outing. We were going to visit a factory which was a long way away and we had a break on the way. It was very hot and the journey was very long so everyone was very thirsty. There was a stall selling many lovely drinks and there was also a fridge full of bottles of orange juice and Coke. Everyone crowded round the fridge, fighting with each other to get to the drinks first.   Mr. Andrews shouted at us crossly. He told all of us to make a line and stop making such a noise. We obeyed him and waited obediently. The stallholder was an old man and he was cross with us. I don’t think he liked us at all and he glared at us. Some of the boys were pushing as they paid the money one by one. As we were getting on the bus, the old man ran towards Mr. Ahmed and shouted, ‘That boy there didn’t pay me!’ He pointed at Isaac, but Isaac said he had paid. The boys around Isaac also said they saw Isaac pay the stallholder.   So, Mr Andrews told the stallholder that he may be mistaken because the boys swore they saw Isaac pay him and that there were a lot of boys so perhaps it was easy for him to mistakenly think Isaac didn’t pay. The stallholder was very angry and insisted Isaac did not pay. Mr. Andrews told us to quickly get back on the bus and we did so quickly and continued to travel to the factory for the outing.   Jamil Khan 21 November 2020   *What did you learn from this report?* *What should you do / not do when writing a report?*   ***Second Sample Report:*** ***Incident during School Outing*** Last Friday on 15^(th) November 2013 Year 9K students travelled on the school bus from school to a chocolate factory in the Guangzhou. The outing was to support the unit of learning on production lines in a business. It was a very hot day and the air conditioners on the bus were weak. After more than two hours the driver, finally stopped by the roadside where there were a few stallholders selling snacks and drinks. Mr. Andrews gave the students permission to buy some snacks and beverages and to return back to the bus in 15 minutes. **The Main Incident**: As there were many students there was a huge rush for the drinks in the hot weather. Many of the students were pushing each other and did not line up quietly to wait for their turn. Mr. Andrews had to yell at the students before there was an orderly queue to purchase their drinks one by one. Some of the students near the back of the line were still impatient and kept trying to hurry the people in front of them. Around 10 to 15 minutes later the students started to head back onto the bus. At that moment, one of the stallholders yelled at the group of students and pointed at Isaac. He claimed that Issac did not pay for his drink and walked off quietly as he was attending the next student behind him. Mr. Andrews proceeded to ask Isaac about the situation. Isaac responded that he paid for his drink in exact change. Some of the other students who were next to Isaac also informed Mr. Andrews that they saw Isaac pay the stallholder. Mr. Andrews then politely explained to the stallholder that Isaac was certain he had paid for his drink and then explained there was a possibility that he was mistaken in the chaos of all the children urgently buying their drinks The stallholder was not very satisfied with Mr. Andrews’ response and he continued to glare at the students as the Year 9s boarded their bus. ***Recommendations****:* As the students were not on their best behaviour during this school outing it would be ideal if they were reminded that they are representing the school during school trips and they should always behave politely. Another suggestion would be to request students bring their own drinks so they do not have to buy it during the outing to minimize chaos next time.      **Report** A report usually tells the reader about an event that has taken place. The writer may analyse or observe these events/situations. Reports are always written for a particular audience. They are clear and objective, reporting the facts.   **Things you should do:** ·       Make points clear in separate paragraphs with topic sentences (use subheadings if you want) ·       Use time connectives (***Earlier, Later that day, Afterwards***). Supportive Housing Coalition Threatens Tenant with Termination Despite Admitting to Violating Federal Housing Standards

# Reddit Post Title: **Supportive Housing Coalition Threatens Tenant with Termination Despite Admitting to Violating Federal Housing Standards** # Introduction: In a shocking turn of events, the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico (SHCNM) has issued a 30-day notice to terminate rental assistance for Jerry Smith, citing multiple compliance issues. This comes shortly after leaked audio revealed that SHCNM, under CEO Laura Chavez, failed to conduct legally required housing inspections and provide necessary documentation to tenants—violations of both federal regulations and their own rental agreements. This post dives into the contradiction between SHCNM’s actions and their legal obligations, exposing the organization’s apparent attempt to shift blame onto a tenant after admitting their own negligence. # Post Content: **Date of Notice:** December 7, 2023 **Termination Date:** January 31, 2024 Jerry Smith received a formal **30-Day Notice of Intent to Terminate Rental Assistance** from the **Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico** (SHCNM), alleging multiple violations on his part. The letter lists eight reasons for his "non-compliant status," including failure to allow for Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections and failure to complete an annual certification. However, this notice directly contradicts admissions made by SHCNM CEO Laura Chavez in a recently leaked audio recording, where she openly acknowledged that Smith’s unit had **not been inspected since he moved in back in 2014** and that **he had never received a copy of the HQS inspection report**—a violation of federal housing regulations. # Key Issues and Contradictions: 1. **Failure to Conduct HQS Inspections (Blaming the Tenant for Their Own Negligence):** One of the reasons cited for terminating Smith’s rental assistance is his supposed **failure to allow for HQS inspections**. Yet, in the leaked audio, Chavez **admits that no inspections were conducted** and that tenants, including Smith, were **never provided copies of required reports. This** suggests that SHCNM is attempting to blame Smith for their own failure to comply with federal housing standards.*"Nobody at any time gave you a copy of your actual inspection... That’s one of my biggest concerns."* 1. **Violation of SHCNM’s Own Rental Agreement:** The notice itself outlines SHCNM’s obligations to conduct **annual HQS inspections** and provide written notifications to both tenants and landlords. The fact that Smith had not received an inspection since 2014 directly violates these terms, as well as **HUD federal regulations. By** terminating Smith’s rental assistance, SHCNM is not only deflecting responsibility but also violating the very agreement they are using to justify the termination.*“I agree my unit will receive a complete Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspection six (6) months after initial lease up and annually thereafter.”* 1. **Retaliation for Speaking Out?** Given the timing of this notice—shortly after the leaked recording surfaced—there is a strong indication that SHCNM may be **retaliating against Smith for exposing their negligence**. This could constitute **retaliatory eviction**, which is illegal under many state and federal housing laws. Retaliatory **evictions** occur when landlords or housing authorities terminate assistance or evict tenants in response to complaints or legal actions about housing conditions. # What This Means: This situation highlights the **systemic failure of the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico** to uphold their legal and ethical obligations to tenants. Instead of addressing their own violations, SHCNM appears to be **shifting blame onto a vulnerable tenant** while trying to protect their organizational reputation. This case underscores the importance of holding housing organizations accountable, especially when they serve vulnerable populations who may not have the resources to fight back against unjust treatment. # Final Thoughts: The **Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico** is supposed to provide safe, stable housing to those in need. Instead, they are **failing to meet basic legal standards** and **punishing tenants** when those failures come to light. This situation raises serious concerns about the broader accountability of supportive housing programs and the **potential for abuse of power** within such organizations. **Have you experienced similar issues with housing authorities or supportive housing programs? What do you think about this situation? Let’s discuss below.**

Boundaries between accounting and bookkeeping work

Hi Everyone, I want to know the scope of services you are providing as an bookkeeper and an accountant. My clients are paying me bookkeeping fees but expecting me that I give them accounting level expertise as same fees. ( As they know I am CPA) Can anyone please advice how to set boundaries and segregate both services? Thanks
